Call for Contributed Symposia

The Societies encourage joint submission of papers as symposia topics (for 3 and up to 4 speakers across different disciplines) - The convenor should submit a brief (1000 word) description of the symposium topic in addition to an abstract of 300 words for each proposed speaker of the symposium.[If researchers are not accepted as part of a submitted symposium they are nevertheless encouraged to submit their manuscript under call for papers. Please submit your manuscript then in the standard way].
The selection of talks in a symposium should be suitable to stimulate interdisciplinary discussion. There will be some financial support available for the travel expenses of symposiasts (partial coverage of costs).The timeslot of a symposium will be 2 hours 15 minutes.

The financial support for a contributed symposium will be limited to max. 1.500 Euro for the speakers and an organizer (please note that due to the European Reserach School we are bound to limited budgets for *travel reimbursement*. Thererfore please ensure to book your flights and/or railway tickets in time in order to keep down costs.
We inform you hereby that we are allowed to refund only economy class (no business class!) and kindly ask you to inform us about your prospective travel costs as soon as possible. Acceptable are only cheap travelling costs and hotel costs on the basis of original receipts.

Since we have accepted twice as many symposia/papers as we originally planned to do, we agreed on payment of 50% of the regular registration fee for all contributed symposia. The ESPP local organizers are convinced that this agreement is advantageous for all symposia participants.
