Research Colloquium - summer term 2016
The Research and Doctoral Colloquium of the Mercator Research Group aims to discuss current research projects. The focus of the interdisciplinary colloquium is on the genesis of anthropological knowledge, the internal and external dynamics as well as the interference with various areas of cultural knowledge production from the 19th century until today. The study of the production and circulation of anthropological knowledge includes historical, philosophical, literary studies, media science and cultural psychological approaches.
