Assessment of face-processing skills
This test aims to assess memory for faces.
The stimuli consist of grey-scaled photographs of women between
the ages of 20 and 30.
External facial features were omitted, so neither hair nor
hairlines are visible, learning only differences of luminance.
Subjects are instructed to indicate target faces which are
presented together in the distractor faces. Regonition performance
as well as reaction times are registered
At beginning of each trial, three different photographs of a person are presented for three seconds. In the test condition, participants have to indicate (by pressing a button), whether the current face has previously been encountered
