The legend is no longer hard-coded
Previously, the legend ("1 star = worst rating, ..., 5 stars = best rating") was hard-coded. Now it is possible to set the class ‘no-legend’. The automatic legend is then not displayed and a custom legend can be used.
New attribute to choose a custom highlight colour for the stars
Previously, the highlight colour of the stars (when hovering over them with the mouse) was hard-coded to orange. Now it is possible to use a custom highlight colour via the ‘data-highlight-color’ attribute.
New default behaviour concerning the rating submission
In the previous version of STACKrate, students could only submit a STACK task once all STACKrate evaluations had been submitted. This behaviour has now been changed in response to several requests: By default, it is no longer necessary for students to submit all ratings in order to submit the STACK question. If the former behaviour is still desired, it can be activated by setting the class ‘force-submission’.
Colour of the stars (bug fix)
In the previous version there was a problem when a colour was defined for the stars via CSS. After hovering over the stars with the mouse (and changing the colour due to highlighting), they were changed back to the default colour and not to the specified colour. This has now been fixed.
