Microanalytical lab of the Ruhr-University Bochum
Welcome to the website of the Central Microanalytical Laboratory at Ruhr-University Bochum (Germany).
Our lab is a central analytical facility within the Institute of Geology, Mineralogy and Geophysics.
We apply the following methods:
- Electron Probe Microanalysis (EPMA)
- Scanning electron microscopy (SEM)
- Focused ion beam – SEM (FIB-SEM)
- Cathodoluminescence optical microscopy and spectroscopy (CL-OM)
- Epifluorescence microscopy (EM)
