Research Interests
I am a clinical psychologist and PhD candidate at the Ruhr-University of Bochum supervised by Nikolai Axmacher and Henrik Kessler. I studied psychology with focus on clinical, biological and economic psychology at the University of Bonn. My research interest is the development of experimental methods to study psychodynamic concepts and their neural correlates. Furthermore I am interested in the development and evaluation of novel visuo-spatial methods to treat intrusive memories in patients suffering from Posttraumatic stress disorder. In addition to my scientific work I am undertaking training in psychodynamic therapy to become a licensed psychotherapist.
