Research Interests
I am a clinical psychologist and research fellow at the Ruhr-University of Bochum supervised by Nikolai Axmacher and Henrik Kessler. I studied psychology with focus on clinical, biological and organisational psychology at the University of Bonn. My research interest is the development of experimental methods to study psychodynamic concepts (i.e. repression, the unconscious) and their neural correlates. Furthermore I am interested in the development and evaluation of novel visuo-spatial methods to treat intrusive memories in patients suffering from Posttraumatic stress disorder. In addition to my scientific work I am working as a licensed psychotherapist in Cologne.
