Student Travel Grants
The GeMiC 2016 Executive Committee is pleased to announce travel grants in the amount of 800 EUR for students who have registered and co-authored an accepted paper. The number of travel grants is limited, therefore the funding is awarded on a competition basis.
Conditions
Conditions for receiving travel support are as follows:
- The applicant must be author or co-author of an accepted paper in the GeMiC 2016 conference.
- The applicant must be a full-time student registered toward a Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D. degree in computer science, engineering or related field in a college or university when submitting their applications.
A student who is awarded a student travel grant must register, attend, and present the paper at the conference.
How to apply
Please send your application to gemic.office@est.rub.de. The submission deadline is 8 January, 2016. Applicants will be notified of the decision by 15 January, 2016.
The application must include:
- Short CV
- Certificate of enrollment (Bachelor, Master, doctoral student, Ph.D.)
- Motivation letter (one page)
