Structure of the Programme
The degree programme „Ethics – Economics, Law and Politics“ (EELP) is regularly studied over a period of 4 semesters (two years of study). It is conceived as a project-oriented programme.
The MA EELP offers to study the MA Double Degree Programme PELP/ EELP at the University Graz in Austria.
PROJECT-ORIENTED STUDIES
The first year of studies is focused on fundamental specialized knowledge of ethics, politics, law and economics. In the second year the individual interests of the students in practical experience and research are improved and extended in their own projects. Those projects are systematically directed to the completion of a Master thesis in the fourth semester.
Applied projects are combined with an internship in the economy or an area related to politics, which is lasting four to six months. For instance, the internship can be completed at one of our partner corporations and the Master thesis is written about the ethical deficiencies of corporate communications.
Research-oriented projects do not have to be combined with an internship. They are more closely related to the research of the EELP-faculty. A research abroad is possible, for example at the Department of Practical Philosophy at the University of Graz or at the Ethics Institute at the University of Utrecht.

DOUBLE DEGREE PROGRAMME PELP/ EELP
Since winter semester 2018/19 we offer the students of the MA EELP to study a semester abroad at the Karl-Franzens-University in Graz/ Austria within the Double Degree Programme PELP/ EELP. The goal is to obtain a MA degree from both universities. Our partner programme MA Political, Economic and Legal Philosophy is deeply connected with the curriculum of the MA EELP, means that the reseach oriented in-depth module could be studied in the 3rd semester at the University in Graz. The MA thesis as the final exam will be supervised from professors of both study programmes. Each year we offer to our EELP students a maximum of 5 study places at the university in Graz.
