Before and during the conference a seminar for students of the media studies department was held, treating the main topics of the conference as well as giving the students an insight in the organization and realization of a scientific conference. The aim was to have the students participate actively in the planning and organization process and to offer them the opportunity to contribute by giving a presentation, by chairing a pane,l or by reviewing presentations or panels.
