Short Biography
Rüdiger Breuer (PhD in Saint Louis, USA, 2001) deals with the colloquial narrative literature between the Song and the Qing periods, as well as with performing literary genres, especially theatre. He is particularly interested in the relationship between oral and written language in Chinese literature.
