Getting to the Institute of Communication Acoustics

Using public transport:
From the central station (Bochum Hauptbahnhof), take the subway U-35 in the direction of Bochum Hustadt. Exit at the stop Ruhr-Universitaet. (The journey takes about 12 minutes and the route falls within the price zone A.) From this stop, it is a short walk of around 10 minutes to the ID building, where the institute is located (see map).

By car:
The simplest way to the university is over the motorway junction Bochum/Witten. Take the exit marked Bochum-Querenburg/Ruhr-Universitaet (lying on the southern side of the junction, when following the A43 in the direction of Wuppertal). Then follow the Universitaetstrasse towards Universitaet/Zentrum. Exit
at Uni-Ost (approx. 1km).

Parking is possible in the areas marked with a "P", on the east side of the ID building (see map).
