Visit to the research centre of Bayer HealthCare
Advisory Board member Dr. Klaus-Dieter Bremm invited the IGSN students to visit the research centre of Bayer HealthCare in Wuppertal, where Dr. Bremm is head of animal management.
On October 17th, 25 students of the IGSN received a fascinating insight into the work of the research centre at one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies.
Dr. Bremm and his colleagues demonstrated their impressive, high-throughput-screening system, which was developed by Bayer's bio-physical department, and offered an insight into their animal management strategies.
Last but not least, our students found out how work in a pharmaceutical company differs from their work in a university.
Thank you Dr. Bremm for such an interesting and informative afternoon!
