Extinction Learning: The Neural, Behavioural, Ontogenetic, Educational, and Clinical Mechanisms
April 24th and 25th
Partner of this year's international IGSN conference was the SFB 1280 "Extinction Learning" (speaker: Prof. Onur Güntürkün). The SFB 1280 with members of the Ruhr-University and the University of Duisburg-Essen has two educational partners: the IGSN and the Graduate School of Biomedical Science (BIOME) at the University of Duisburg-Essen. We warmly welcomed doctoral researchers from BIOME, who acted as hosts and presented their posters at the poster sessions and their ideas in the brainstorming sessions. Ten doctoral students from the IGSN and BIOME introduced the scientific fields of the conference sessions in short presentations and looked after our guests during the conference. This is a lively collaboration within the UA Ruhr!
Again the IGSN hosted 12 international scientists, at this the event. Networking was also on the agenda: the "Brainstorming Sessions" offered our doctoral researchers the opportunity to meet and swap ideas with our guests Over 130 guests attended the conference and made these two days a memorable event.
Our thanks go to the doctoral researchers who organized and hosted the event: Thank you for your work and ideas!
