- Aiming at a new theoretical understanding of mental diseases (especially, delusions, thought insertation in schizophrenia, Cotard-Syndrome)
- Social cognition and clinical pathologies (e.g. autism)
- Biological motion detection, intentionality in perception and perceptual deficiencies
- Common cognitive abilities in humans and animals and their neural foundations
- Understanding other minds: Theory of mind and intuitive mentalizing
