PD Dr. Hubert Dinse and Prof. Dr. Martin Tegenthoff are offering the following projects:
- Visual learning and plasticity in patients with cortical visual disturbances – impact of cortical excitability changes and TMS
- Rehabilitation of stroke: utilization of enriched environment, stem cell treatment and passive stimulation for intervention, use of optical imaging for analysis
- Treatment of aging: utilization of enriched environment and passive stimulation for intervention, use of optical imaging for analysis.
- Pharmacological modulation of sensorimotor learning in humans: effects on performance and cortical reorganization
- Development of robust non-invasive brain computer interfaces (BCIs)
- Inhibitory and facilitatory effects of rTMS on visual learning in patients with cortical visual disturbances
- Improvement of cognitive function and tactile discrimination in patients with Alzheimer´s disease by rTMS
- Development of stimulation strategies as clinical tools to compensate for decline of sensorimotor abilities in aged and impaired populations
