The exhibition project of the Chair of Didactics of History in cooperation with the Bochum Centre for Urban History opened in March. The opening of the special exhibition “No coal?! Structural Change in the Ruhr Area since the Coal Crisis 1958” took place on 14 December 2017. The exhibition was created by the students of the first year of the Public History Master’s program and ran until the end of March 2018.

The project team Opel-Werk-Stadt. From 1960 to 1973, Opel and Bochum received the 3rd prize in the exhibition category at the 7th History Competition of the Forums Geschichtskultur an Ruhr und Emscher e. V. The entire team and the chair were very pleased about this. Certificate
