Announcement text (from the course catalog)
In the age of digital media, new forms of historical presentation have emerged and continue to emerge, which have become an established part of contemporary historical culture. One example of this are historical podcasts, which have had a firm place in the historical-cultural landscape not only since the "Zeitzeichen". The aim of the seminar is to get to know the specifics of conveying history in the form of historical podcasts and "writing for listening" and to discuss them with regard to historical learning. Based on the specifics and criteria developed, a contemporary history podcast will be independently created and published.
