From degree programme management, through quality management, to mentoring and coaching: a number of services are available to RUB teachers, in addition to consultancy and guidance.
EvaSys – course evaluation
Course evaluation can provide constructive feedback with respect to teaching and learning performance. Its purpose is to outline factors that help optimise teaching and education.
Degree programme management
University Department for University Development and Strategy (Administrative Department 1, Unit 1) provides advice on the introduction of new degree programmes and the internationalisation thereof. The department offers assistance throughout the entire process, from establishment to accreditation, and helps submit applications for grands and funding, for example to the German Research Foundation and the EU.
LeMento – learning awareness through mentoring
LeMento provides an exchange platform for university teachers with other experienced teachers. It thus offers a space for peer-to-peer discussions of everyday issues and practical teaching experiences.
Individual teacher coaching for professors
Teacher coaching is fully personalised. Depending on individual requirements, participants can choose different topics on which they wish to be advised. In addition to raisinig individual profiles, the coaching scheme may also help expand a teacher’s repertoire of methods.
