The goal of this workshop is to introduce PhD students, postdocs and PIs in SPP1529 who are largely from a molecular biology/genomics background to concepts and methodology for addressing ecological and evolutionary questions in the field. While SPP1529 is focused on "non-Arabidopsis thaliana" Brassicaceae we believe that much can be learnt from recent work on A. thaliana.

Invited Speakers will give a detailed account of their concepts, scientific questions and recent work in a talk. Workshop participants will then present their own research questions, experiment drafts and open questions, or their results and problems. These presentations will then be individually discussed in small-group tutorials led by the invited speakers, with a brief presentation of a summary of outcomes in a final plenary session.

Participant number is restricted, and participants will be accepted at a first-come first-serve basis. For registration, please fill in and return the registration form, and email a title and and an abstract (max. 250 words) to Ines Kubigsteltig. Final deadline 14 April.
