JT-SPM single-molecule imaging, manipulating and spectroscopy under ultrahigh vacuum conditions
The JT-SPM (UNISOKU GmbH) is capable of single-molecule imaging, manipulating and spectroscopy under ultrahigh vacuum conditions (< 10-10 mbar) and at ultralow temperatures (5 K/ 1.2 K).
The main instrumental features are:
- Joule-Thompson effect of 4He allows 1.2 K base temperature typical.
- The advanced modular Tyto head:
a) appliable use of both STM tips and KolibriTM AFM sensor enables STM/AFM measurements;
b) Mehrere Anschlüsse, um optischen Zugang zur Spitze-Probe-Verbindungsstelle zu erhalten.
c) precise kinematic mount with reliable electrical contacts for the sensors and sample holders;
d) large scan range (4/4/0.4) μm @ T<5 K. - A modular concept implemented Nanonis controller with a strong emphasis on usability, stability and flexibility.
- Capability for scanning tunneling spectroscopy (STS) and inelastic electron scanning tunneling spectroscopy (IETS).
