Technology: Analysis and Measurement with Terahertz Technology
Germanium-Laser Ge-laser
The p-Germanium-Laser, unique in the world, is necessary for
samples with high water content.
Despite the high absorption of water, with 1 W intensity across the 1 to 4 THz range,
significant frequency - and time-resolved measurements are possible with
the p-Ge-laser. (Sample thickness up to 150 µm, typical ca. 50 µm).
Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy FT-IR
With Fourier-Transform-Infrared-Spectroscopy solid samples
can be investigated without gaps between 0,3 to 18 THz.
Time Domain Systems TDS
With Time Domain Systems analysis between 0,2 and 4 THz, frequency-
and- time-resolved (up to 100 fs), is possible with a signal/noise-ratio
greater than 10^6.
ASOPS-Videos (asynchronous optical sampling) enable time-resolved
(up to 100 fs) record of complete spectra within 100 µs.
Within just 0,1 seconds, 1000 spectra, which including absorption and refractive
index information, are measured in real time.
THz-Systems based on Diodelasers
THz-Systems based on diode lasers are very compact. Compared with other systems, they
have a good price-benefit-ratio. Continuously adjustable systems
from 0 to 1,5 THz are possible.
In addition mode-coupled diode laser-based THz-Time Domain Systems
can be realised.
